We love serving guests in the restaurant at Hadley’s. We also understand that a trip to Hobart is not complete without experiencing the gastronomy and local produce. To help you get the best meals during your stay, we have selected three restaurants that feature local produce, exceptional menus and proximity to Hadley’s.

First, welcome to Fico. Fico is a friendly and casual restaurant and is a short 200m walk from Hadley’s. Focussing on European cuisine and Tasmanian ingredients, Fico adapts their menu weekly to make the most of seasonal produce.

For a relaxing end to the week, we recommend their Sunday Night menu. Sundays at Fico are warm, friendly and intimate, serving casual share plates from a small à la carte menu. And make sure to leave room for dessert!

And now, on to Dier Makr. Only 150 m from Hadley’s, Dier Makr is literally around the corner. With innovative flavours and immaculate service, Dier Makr makes fine dining seem effortless, intimate and relaxed. Their exceptional food features the best Tasmanian produce, and like Fico, their menu is constantly changing.

We love an open kitchen and encourage you to get a seat at the counter to watch the chefs prepare meals with precision and ease. For unforgettable dining, we also recommend enjoying wine pairings with their creative and ever-changing Tasting Menu.

Our final restaurant stop is at Aloft. If you like a meal with a view, Aloft delivers. Perched on the top floor of the award-winning Brooke Street Pier, the restaurant has window seats to one of Hobart’s most spectacular harbour views.

This modern, open-plan restaurant features local, seasonal foods and a wine list to match. It is also just 400m from Hadley's. Dine from their Chefs Menu or à la carte, with vegan, vegetarian and other dietary options fully catered.

Aloft is open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday. Book ahead to avoid missing out.

We hope we have inspired you to explore our local restaurants in Hobart. We love to talk about food, so get in contact if you think there is a great restaurant that we have missed.
